JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, May 14, 2025 (BSS) - Jahangirnagar University authorities have appointed Professor Dr Mohammad Mamun Hossain of the Chemistry department as the new provost of Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall on a temporary basis.

The appointment was confirmed in an office order signed by acting Registrar ABM Azizur Rahman today.

The university administration reserves the right to revoke his appointment anytime in the greater interest of the institution, according to the office order.

He succeeds Prof Abdullah Hel Kafi from the International Relations department, who previously served the same position.
