Nepalese envoy calls on Sharmin Murshid, discuss bilateral issues

DHAKA, May 14, 2025 (BSS) - Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari today called on Social Welfare, Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid at the conference room of the Women and Children Affairs Ministry here.

During the meeting, the adviser and the ambassador discussed the bilateral relations and mutual interests.

The existing relations between Bangladesh and Nepal are very cordial and friendly and there are many scopes for expansion of economic and commercial sectors of both countries, Sharmeen Murshid told at the meeting adding that the relationship between two countries will be strengthened more in future.

The adviser also hoped that the mutual cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal will develop the health services for women and children, maternity service, and the development of the backward section of the society. 

The Nepalese ambassador also expressed his hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries would be strengthened in future.
