Fire at Motijheel building under control

DHAKA, May 17, 2025 (BSS) - A fire that broke out at a three-storey commercial building adjacent to Shahjalal Islami Bank in city's Motijheel area this evening has been brought under control.

According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence media cell, four units from Siddik Bazar Fire Station reached the spot at 6:28pm and brought the blaze under control at 7:14pm.

The cause of fire could not be known immediately and no casualty has been reported so far.
