DHAKA, June 17, 2025 (BSS) - The government has officially published the gazette of the 'July Mass Uprising Martyrs' Families and Injured Students-Citizens Welfare and Rehabilitation Ordinance, 2025'.

The Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs published the gazette on Tuesday night.

According to the gazette, the ordinance aims to uphold the essence and ideology of the historic July Uprising in national life.
 
It also focuses on the welfare and rehabilitation of the Shaheed families and 'July Joddha' and preservation of the history of the July uprising.

The ordinance will come into immediate effect.
