RUET arranges foundation training for 67 new teachers

RAJSHAHI, June 18, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has arranged a weeklong foundation training for its newly recruited teachers, aimed at boosting their professional skills.
 
Initiated by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the training being held at RUET Hall aims to enhance teaching skills, promote professional development and ensure quality teaching.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdur Razzaque addressed the opening ceremony as chief guest, while IQAC Director Prof Imdadul Haque was in the chair today.

Dean of Applied Science and Humanity Faculty Prof Abdul Kader Zilani, Electronics and Computer Science Faculty Dean Prof Bashir Ahmed and Mechanical Engineering Faculty Dean Prof Nurul Islam also spoke on the occasion.

In his remarks, Prof Abdur Razzaque said the foundation training is very significant in terms of flourishing professional and academic leadership. 

The newly recruited teachers can play a vital role towards building future workforces after being skilled in the field of teaching, research and moral values through the training, he expected.

Prof Razzaque also urged the participants for the best use of their knowledge to be acquired from the training in their professional works.
