ACC launches drive in 13 election offices regarding NID

DHAKA, June 23, 2025 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has carried out drives at 13 election offices across the country following allegations of harassment in issuing national identity cards (NID) and its correction and delivery process.

Assistant Director (AD) of the ACC Md Tanjir Islam disclosed this to media at a press briefing at the commission’s headquarters in the city’s Segun Bagicha.

The ACC carried out the drives from its 13 District Integrated Offices following allegations of harassment by the staffs of different election offices. 

The districts where drives were conducted are-Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Barisal, Patuakhalki, Pirozpur, Rangour, Thakurgaon, Kurigram, Dinajpur, Mymensingh and Jamalpur.
