MADARIPUR, June 24, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and another injured in a 
road accident at Kalibari crossing under Rajoir upazila of the district this 
afternoon.

The deceased was Indrojit Bhadro, 40, a resident of Karpara village in 
Gopalganj Sadar upazila.

Police said the accident occurred on the Dhaka-Barishal highway around 4 pm 
when a bus hit a Nosimon (locally made vehicle) from behind, leaving its 
driver dead on the spot and injured passenger Suvo Biswas.

The injured was taken to Rajoir Upazila Health Complex.
