DMP files 2,845 cases against traffic rules violations

DHAKA, July 30, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,845 cases against vehicles, owners and its drivers for violating traffic rules.

The DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines during July 29 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers, according to a press release issued today. 

It said the DMP traffic police dumped 282 motor vehicles and towed 92 vehicles during the campaign against traffic rule violations.

The DMP release further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
