CHANDPUR, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS)– A two-day scientific conference and science fair began at Chandpur Medical College in the district today.

This is the first-ever conference and science fair on the medical premises since the establishment of Chandpur Medical College. 
The fair was inaugurated at 11 am on the rooftop of the Chandpur Government General Hospital building. 

Students from various academic batches enthusiastically participated in the event, showcasing their innovations and research-based presentations.

A total of 21 stalls were set up, where student groups presented a wide range of scientific and medical topics. 

Group leaders explained their respective projects before a panel of teachers and judges, highlighting the creative and research-oriented efforts of the students.

Faculty members from Chandpur Medical College, along with doctors from Chandpur Government General Hospital, visited the stalls and took part in evaluating the student presentations.
