‘Student Aid SUST’ launches two-day free health camp

SYLHET, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) –A two-day free health camp for students, organized by the voluntary organization ‘Student Aid SUST’ was inaugurated today at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
The inaugural ceremony was held at 11 am at the new Social Science Building on the university campus.

SUST Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Sajedul Karim attended the event as the chief guest, while Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Hossain was present as the special guest.


The two-day health camp is offering general health check-ups, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, consultations with specialist doctors and nutritionists, mental health awareness services and basic medications. 

The first day of the camp is dedicated to male students, while the second day will focus on female students.

Renowned physicians from Sylhet are participating in the camp to provide the health services free of cost.
