DHAKA, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) – The Rajshahi Regional Office of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has issued new instructions regarding the preservation of passwords used in the management of institutions, including applications for MPO enrollment of teachers and employees of private educational institutions.

The instructions were given in a notification signed by the Director of the Regional Office, Professor Md Asaduzzaman.

The directive stated, “Different user IDs and related passwords are required to conduct various online activities of educational institutions, including submitting salary and allowance applications for teachers and employees of the institution, MPO-related applications (new MPO enrollment, promotion application, higher scale application, index deletion/release application), updating information of the institution, and conducting scholarship/scholarship-related activities for students.”

Recently, it has been observed that some institutions are showing laxity in preserving the various passwords they use, especially the MPO password, and they are repeatedly applying to the regional office for passwords, it added.

The DSHE regional office said, “It is specially requested that the activities of MPO and other online applications of the educational institution must be carried out through the ICT teacher/ICT-skilled teacher/office assistant-cum-computer operator of that educational institution.”

Otherwise, it said, if any complications arise regarding the password due to the negligence of the head of the institution, the head of the respective institution will be held responsible.
