CUMILLA, Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) – Comilla University (CoU) will go on a nine-day vacation on the occasion of Durga Puja, one of the largest religious festivals of Hindu community, from Sunday next.

Registrar (Additional Duty) of the university Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain confirmed the matter today. 

According to the Registrar's Office, the university will remain closed from September 28 to October 2 on the occasion of Durga Puja. 

There are four-day weekends before and after the vacation (September 26, 27 and October 3, 4).

The university's academic and administrative activities will resume as usual from October 5, said the registrar.
