KU VC seeks help of law enforcement to ensure smooth admission tests

KHULNA, Dec 3, 2025 (BSS) – Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Khulna University (KU) Professor Dr Md Rezaul Karim today stressed the important role of law enforcement, particularly the traffic division, in helping candidates reach exam halls on time. 

He also underscored the need for coordinated efforts among all agencies to ensure safety and build confidence among candidates and guardians.

He made the remarks while presiding over a meeting in the conference room of the university’s administrative building. 
To ensure smooth conduct of all examinations, the coordination meeting held on security measures and traffic management, attended by representatives of the administration and law enforcement agencies.

The VC said that a large number of candidates and guardians will gather in Khulna due to the admission tests of Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Jagannath and the Agriculture Cluster.

VC said that extra attention is necessary so that no sense of insecurity arises during the exams. 
He urged the authorities to prevent traffic congestion in the university area, especially near the Gallamari Bridge, and ensure timely arrival of assigned teachers and staff.

Khulna University’s undergraduate admission tests for the 2025–26 academic year will be held on 18–19 December. 

Representatives of the law enforcement agencies assured that they would strengthen overall security to ensure smooth and safe examinations.

Registrar (In-Charge) Prof Dr S M Mahbubur Rahman presented details of the examination management.
