KHULNA, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - The admission test for first-year undergraduate (honours) programmes at Khulna University (KU) for the 2025-26 academic session will begin tomorrow.

A total of 108,266 candidates will compete for 1,109 seats across four units, university officials said.

The admission test for the 'D' Unit under the School of Management and Business Administration will be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon at centres in Khulna and Dhaka on Thursday. A total of 3,603 candidates will sit for this unit.

Later in the day, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, the 'C' Unit admission test will take place simultaneously at centres in Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chattogram. The unit includes the Schools of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Education and Fine Arts, with 36,734 candidates expected to appear.

On December 19, the 'A' Unit admission test for the School of Science, Engineering and Technology will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the same four centres. A separate drawing test for Architecture applicants will follow from 11:40 am to 12:40 pm. A total of 38,961 candidates will participate in the 'A' Unit test.

On the same day, the 'B' Unit admission test for the School of Life Sciences will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at centres in Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chattogram, with 28,968 candidates appearing.

University authorities said all necessary preparations have been completed to ensure the examinations are conducted smoothly and securely. Security has been strengthened at all centres, and coordination with the relevant administrative bodies will be maintained.
