Motorcycle used in attack on Hadi identified; owner held

DHAKA, Dec 14, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has identified the motorcycle used in the attack on Inqilab Manch spokesperson Osman Hadi, leading to the arrest of its owner, Abdul Hannan in the capital.

RAB arrested Abdul Hannan from Mohammadpur area of Dhaka on the basis of information gathered during the investigation, RAB officials said.

Following his arrest, Abdul Hannan was handed over to Paltan Police Station for further legal proceedings.

Police said the motorcycle used in the attack has been identified as part of the ongoing investigation.

Further investigation is underway to identify those directly involved in the attack and to determine the motive behind the incident, officials concerned said.

Osman Hadi was seriously injured by motorcycle-riding miscreants in the capital's Bijoynagar Box Culvert area on Friday. 

He is now undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
