DHAKA, Dec 27, 2025 (BSS)- The admission test for first-year undergraduate programmes under the Science Unit of Dhaka University for the 2025–26 academic session was held today.

The examination took place from 3.30 pm to 5 pm and a total of 114,114 students appeared in the test against 1,891 available seats.

Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Sayma Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed, Treasurer Professor Dr M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Science Professor Dr Abdus Salam, and Science Unit admission test coordinator and Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences Professor Dr Md Enamul Haque visited the exam centre at Curzon Hall.

Besides Dhaka, the admission test was held at public universities in seven divisional cities outside Dhaka. 

The centres outside Dhaka were Rajshahi University, Chattogram University, Barishal University, Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh, and Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.
