DHAKA, Dec 27, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman again visited his mother, BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.

He arrived at the hospital tonight at 9:40 pm, BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed to BSS.

Khaleda Zia has been admitted to Evercare Hospital since November 23. Her treatment is being overseen by a medical board comprising both local and international specialist doctors.

Tarique Rahman returned to Bangladesh on Thursday after 17 years abroad. Upon arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, he attended a reception rally organized by the BNP at the 'July 36 Expressway' (300-foot road) area of the capital.

Following the rally, he visited Evercare Hospital to see his mother, staying by her side for nearly an hour and a half. His wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman and daughter Zaima Rahman accompanied him during the visit.
