JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Jan 13, 2026 (BSS) - A seminar titled "BNP's Education Policy for Nation Building: Now or Never" was held at Jahangirnagar University (JU) today.

JU's Mathematics Department Chairman Prof Dr Mohammad Nazrul Islam organised the seminar at 3:00 pm at the university's Zahir Raihan Auditorium Seminar Room, with the participation of teachers, students and leaders and activists of JU and Dhaka-based Chhatra Dal.

Members of BNP's education policy team presented key aspects of the party's proposed education framework and shared their views on reforming the country's education system.

An interactive question-and-answer session was also held, where students and participants exchanged opinions and raised questions regarding education policy and its future direction.

The programme was coordinated by Professor Mohammad Nazrul Islam of JU's Mathematics Department, while Philosophy Department Professor Mostofa N Mansur, BNP's Education Policy Team members including JU's Geography and Environment Department Professor Dr Nahreen I Khan, Dhaka University's Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Prof Dr Md Ridhwanul Haq, Dr Munia Amin of GenX, spoke among others.
