DHAKA, Jan 15, 2026 (BSS) - A delegation of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) today held a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin ahead of the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad election and referendum.

The meeting began at 1:35 pm at the Election Building in the capital's Agargaon, with BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed leading the party delegation.

BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council Member Ismail Zabihullah, former Acting Election Commission Secretary Dr Mohammad Zakaria and Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal are among the members of the delegation.
 
Election Commission Secretariat Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed was also present at the meeting.
