
DHAKA, Jan 21, 2026 (BASS)- As part of the National Education Week–2026, educational institutions run by the Bangladesh Army have once again achieved remarkable success in different competitions at the national level.
Various army-run educational institutions, heads of the institutions, teachers, and students maintained their superiority by securing commendable achievements across different categories, said an ISPR release.
Among this year’s notable accomplishments, Adamjee Cantonment Public School became the best educational institution (School) at the national level, while Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College secured the Second Best Educational Institution (School) nationally.
At the same time, Principal of Adamjee Cantonment Public School Lt Col Byzid Mohammad Tareq Junaed earned the distinction of Best Head of Educational Institution (School).
In addition, Principal of the Cantonment Public School and College, Saidpur, Lt Col Syed Shafiul Islam Meraz became the Second Best Head of Educational Institution (College).
Md. Abdul Baten, a teacher of Adamjee Cantonment College, achieved the honour of being selected as the Best BNCC Teacher.
This year, out of a total of 261 awards in 109 categories, principals, teachers, and students of Bangladesh Army-run educational institutions secured 45 awards, the release said.
