25 dengue patients hospitalized

DHAKA, Jan 28, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 25 people have been hospitalised with dengue across the country during the last 24 hours, while no deaths were reported during the period.

This information was disclosed in a dengue-related press release issued today by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the newly hospitalised dengue patients, one was admitted in Barishal Division, 12 in Chattogram Division, three in Dhaka North City Corporation, five in Dhaka South City Corporation, one in Khulna Division, two in Mymensingh Division, and one in Rajshahi Division.

During the same period, 20 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals.

So far this year, a total of 1,025 dengue cases have been reported, while two deaths have been recorded due to dengue.

From January 1 to December 31 last year, a total of 102,861 dengue cases were reported across the country, and 413 deaths were recorded from dengue.
