Turkish ambassador, election observer delegation meet Tarique Rahman

DHAKA, Feb 11, 2026 (BSS) - The Ambassador of Trkiye to Bangladesh and a visiting Turkish election observer delegation paid a courtesy call on BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman today.

The meeting took place in the evening at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan, according to BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

Among those present on behalf of the BNP were Chairman Tarique Rahman, Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir and the Chairperson's Adviser Enamul Haque Chowdhury.

The Turkish election observer delegation included Mehmet Akif Yilmaz, MP, Adem Yildirim, Osman Mesten, Burhan Kayaturk, Ahmet Ozturk, Ayse Sibel Izi, Sait Demir, Mehmet Ozkan, Ali Fazil Kasap and Mehmet Vakur Erkul.
