DHAKA, March 2, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi will remain
open today, but expatriate Bangladeshis have been urged to prioritise safety
and avoid unnecessary movement amid the prevailing situation.

In a message, the Embassy of Bangladesh in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
requested citizens to refrain from visiting the mission unless it is
absolutely necessary for urgent matters.

"Please rest assured that the government of Bangladesh and the Embassy stand
firmly by your side, and the UAE government remains fully committed to
ensuring the safety and security of all residents. Stay safe and remain
informed," the message said.

Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Tareq Ahmed also echoed the call, urging
Bangladeshi nationals to remain cautious, stay in secure locations and follow
advisories issued by local authorities.

The embassy assured that it remains operational and ready to provide
necessary consular assistance to citizens in need while closely monitoring
the situation.
