Shilpakala to celebrate Int'l Dance Day

DHAKA, April 27, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will celebrate International Dance Day with a two-day programme tomorrow and the following day.

With support from the Cultural Affairs Ministry, the event will be open to all.

The inaugurating ceremony will be held at the National Theatre Hall auditorium tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5 pm, with State Minister for Cultural Affairs Ali Newaz Mahmud Khaiyum expected to attend as the chief guest.

Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury is expected to attend the closing session of the event as the chief guest on April 29 while adviser to the Prime Minister on Information, Broadcasting and Cultural Affairs Dr Jahed Ur Rahman will be present as the special guest at the opening ceremony tomorrow.
