120 seats vacant at HSTU; 5th phase admission notice published

DINAJPUR, May 6, 2026 (BSS) - Haji Mohammad Danesh University of Science and Technology (HSTU) has announced its 5th phase admission process following the completion of 4th merit admissions, with a total of 120 seats remaining vacant.

The information was confirmed last night through a press release issued by the university's Public Relations Office. 

Public Relations Department Director of the university Md. Khademul Islam said the notice was published on the university's official website and signed by Registrar Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan.

According to the notice, the vacant seats are distributed across different units: 16 in 'A' unit, 77 in 'B' unit, 11 in 'C' unit, and 16 in 'D' unit, with an additional two seats available in the Architecture department.

Eligible candidates seeking admission to 23 degree programs under 8 faculties for the 2026 academic session are instructed to report in person. Reporting will take place on May 10, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, at designated booths located on the third floor of the university's TSC building. 

Authorities have emphasized that no candidates will be allowed to report after the specified deadline.

The university will publish the list of selected candidates for the vacant seats based on merit and preference on the same day, by 7:00 pm. Candidates who are allotted subjects must complete their admission formalities by 4:00 pm on May 11.

Further details regarding the admission procedures and required steps will be made available on the university's official website in due course, the notice added.
