CHITTAGONG UNIVERSITY, May 10, 2026 (BSS) – The first-ever three-member partial committee of “Jatiya Chatra Shakti,” the student wing of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has been announced at Chittagong University (CU).

The committee includes Abdullah Al Mahatir (Anthropology, 2019–20 session) as Convener, Md Ismail (Banking and Insurance, 2019–20 session) as Member Secretary, and Ulfatur Rahman Rakib (Dramatics, 2022–23 session) as Chief Organiser.

The information was disclosed in a statement signed by Jatiya Chatra Shakti central president Zahid Hasan and general secretary Abu Bakar Majumdar last night. The statement was issued on Tuesday (May 5).

The statement said, “The partial convening committee of Jatiya Chatra Shakti, Chittagong University unit, has been approved for the next one year.”

The newly formed convening committee has also been directed to form a full-fledged committee within the next seven working days.
