DHAKA, May 10, 2026 (BSS) – The two-day election of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) will be held on May 13 and 14, while the candidate introduction meeting will be held tomorrow at 4:30 pm at the association’s Shaheed Shafiur Rahman Auditorium.

In the meeting, candidates for the president post will be allowed 12 minutes each to speak, while vice-president candidates will get 5 minutes and secretary candidates 10 minutes each.

Besides, treasurer candidates will have 3 minutes each, while assistant secretary and member candidates will get 2 minutes each to introduce themselves.

The election will be held for 14 posts—one president, two vice-presidents, one secretary, one treasurer, two joint secretaries and seven members.

Scrutiny of nomination papers was completed on April 28, and the names of valid candidates were announced on the same day.
