DHAKA, May 10, 2026 (BSS) – A total of 29 suspected criminals involved in various criminal activities were arrested during special drives conducted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
 
“They were involved in various crimes under Jatrabari Police Station area,” said a press release issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media division here today.

It said that police produced the arrestees before the court.

The arrested are - Md Arif Hossain (32), Md Hridoy (30), Shila Akhter (32), Rakib alias Rocky (40), Md Monir Hossain Hridoy (27), Md Al Amin (32), Md Khokon Kazi (27), Md Ismail (50), Md Abdur Rahman (48), Md Selim Mia, Md Jamal Hossain, Swapan (30), Md Majid Ali (45), Md Shahin (37), Habibur Rahman (48), Md Sumon (48), Md Salauddin (35), Md Sabuj (42), Md Sarwar (35), Md Liton (40), Md Kalam (46), Md Abu Bakkar Siddique (39), Md Badsha (47), Md Milan Sharif (38), Md Idris Ali (48), Md Abdul Motaleb (52), Md Ripon (40), Md Salman (21) and Md Mohsin (45).

The DMP media division official said that these individuals were arrested yesterday (Friday May 9) after conducting special raids in various crime-prone areas.
