CHATTOGRAM, May 6, 2026 (BSS) – The orientation for first-year undergraduate students at Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) is scheduled for July 2, with regular classes set to begin on July 5.

The decision was taken at the 164th meeting of the university’s Academic Council today. The meeting was chaired by Council President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan.

It was attended by both internal and external members of CUET. University Registrar (Additional Duty) Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir served as the member secretary. Various academic matters were discussed, and several decisions were taken at the meeting.
