RAJSHAHI, May 10, 2026 (BSS)- A career program titled ‘Meet the Industry Experts — Season 1’ was held at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) to provide students with career guidance and direction on tackling contemporary challenges in the tech world.
 
The career and industry insight session took place on Saturday in the CSE Seminar Room of the university. It was organized by the RUET Computing Society (RCS) in collaboration with Programming Hero.
 
The RUET Computing Society regularly works to support students’ career development, networking, and exposure to modern concepts in the technology sector. 

As part of this initiative, experienced professionals from the country’s tech industry shared their experiences and guidance with students on key topics including software engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), engineering leadership, the startup ecosystem, and career preparation.
 
Speakers at the event included Abdur Rakib, COO of Programming Hero and Phitron; Mohammad Emran Hasan, CEO of Classio; S. M. Asad Rahman (CSE 2001–2002), Regional Engineering Manager at Stealth AI and former CTO of Monster Lab; and Saiful Islam Noman, Senior Product Manager at Verbex AI.
 
In the discussion, the speakers elaborated on the fundamental transformation of software engineering in the current AI era, the skill sets required to stay competitive in a changing market, SaaS product development, and the importance of internships.

They also answered students’ questions about future opportunities in the tech industry and the challenges of the startup journey.

The organising body, RUET Computing Society, stated that such events will continue in the future to connect students with the industry and create networking opportunities.

 The event concluded with a lively ‘Interactive and Networking Session’ featuring active participation from the invited guests and students.
