PM's relief fund distributes Tk 50 lakh to 16 institutions in Natore

NATORE, May 31, 2026 (BSS) - Cheques worth Taka 50 lakh from the Prime Minister's Relief Fund were distributed among 16 institutions in Natore today.
 
Natore-2 Member of Parliament and Jatiya Sangsad Whip Advocate M Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu distributed the cheques at his office in the district town.
 
Speaking on the occasion, the Whip paid tribute to Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, saying Ziaur Rahman would remain in the hearts of the people for his contributions to the Liberation War, the introduction of multi-party democracy and the country's development.
 
"The nation will remember Shaheed Ziaur Rahman with gratitude for his significant role in the country's progress," he said.
 
Referring to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Dulu said the premier is committed to advancing the nation by following the ideals of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman. He added that the Prime Minister is working tirelessly for the development of the state and the welfare of its people.
 
"We will continue to support these efforts as a constructive force," he said.

Among others present at the programme were former Natore Municipality mayors Sheikh Emdadul Haque Al Mamun and Kazi Shah Alam, as well as district BNP joint conveners Saiful Islam Aftab and Mostafizur Rahman Shahin.
