RU VC plants trees on campus marking World Environment Day

RAJSHAHI, June 5, 2026 (BSS) -  Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Faridul Islam today inaugurated a tree-plantation programme on the university’s Central Mosque premises on the occasion of the World Environment Day. 

Among others present were Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Mamunur Rashid, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Md. Abdul Alim, and Proctor Professor Md. Mahbubur Rahman.
Inaugurating the programme, the Vice-Chancellor said, "Within the next few months, 10,000 trees will be planted across the campus."
