
DHAKA, June 5, 2026 (BSS) - Pallabi Police Station has rescued three teenage girls from the Dhaka Udyan area under Mohammadpur Police Station following a missing General Diary (GD).
Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) N. M. Nasiruddin came up with the development today.
According to police, Md. Hasibur Rahman Rony reported to Pallabi Police Station on Tuesday (June 2) that his daughter, Manha Hasib Raisa, 17, had left home at around 4 pm on Monday (June 1) along with her friend Dipika, 17, and Dipika's younger sister Diya, 13, and had not returned.
A General Diary (GD) was subsequently filed with Pallabi Police Station.
On the same day, Dipika's family also filed two separate missing person General Diaries with Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station.
Following the complaint, a team from Pallabi Police Station conducted an investigation and today recovered all three girls from a house in the Dhaka Udyan area under Mohammadpur Police Station.
Police said that, according to their findings, Dipika had allegedly planned the incident in advance. On Monday afternoon (June 1), she reportedly made her mother unconscious by administering sleeping pills mixed with a soft drink and then left home with cash, gold ornaments, clothes taking her younger sister Diya.
Later, accompanied by Manha, the three travelled by CNG-run auto-rickshaw and rented a house in the Dhaka Udyan area, where they had been staying.
The recovered girls have been handed over to their respective families.
