DHAKA, July 28, 2026, (BSS) - Three more children suspected of being infected with measles have died across the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The release said the number of suspected measles patients recorded in the past 24 hours was 799, while the total number of suspected measles patients from March 15 to July 28 stood at 125,544.

During the past 24 hours, 105 measles cases were confirmed, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 15,660 since March 15.

From March 15 to July 28, a total of 108,441 suspected measles patients were admitted to hospitals. During the same period, 104,235 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

Three people suspected of having measles died in the past 24 hours. Since March 15, a total of 733 children suspected of being infected with measles have died.

No deaths from confirmed measles were reported in the past 24 hours. From March 15 to July 28, the total number of deaths from confirmed measles stood at 95.
