BGB deployed in six districts including Dhaka, Ctg

DHAKA, July 16, 2024 (BSS) - The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel have been deployed in Dhaka, Gazipur, Chattogram, Bogura, Rangpur and Rajshahi to maintain law and order situation amid the ongoing quota reform movement across the country.

"In the wake of the ongoing quota reform movement, BGB has been deployed in Dhaka, Gazipur, Chattogram, Bogura, Rangpur and Rajshahi to maintain law and order situation," said a press release issued by BGB Public Relations Officer Md Shariful Islam here this afternoon.

Besides, BGB members have also been deployed in Jahangirnagar University (JU) area this evening to maintain law and order situation and keep vehicular movement normal on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway.
