Probe report in graft case against Anisul on Mar 20

DHAKA, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) – A court here today set March 20 for submitting investigation report in a graft case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) against former law minister Anisul Huq.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain passed the order, accepting the first information report (FIR) in the case.

ACC filed the case against the former law minister on January 1 for amassing illegal wealth of Taka 146.19 crore. He is accused of making suspicious transactions of 665.64 crore through 29 bank accounts.
