DHAKA, April 6, 2025(BSS)- Kadamtali Thana Police in a drive today arrested
four active members of a dacoit gang from Muradpur Captain Math area of the
thana along with country-made weapons while they were planning to commit
robbery in the city.

The arrested dacoits are Raju Mallik alias Badha Raju, 33, Md Antor, 25,
Mizanur Sheikh, 35, and Md Mohsin, 33.

Police recovered a curved (single-edged iron weapon), two switch-gear knives
and an iron rod from their possession.
 
Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of the Dhaka Metropolitan
Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman disclosed the information to the media
at his office here.
 
The other members of the gang, however, managed to escape from the spot
sensing the presence of the policemen, he added.

A case was filed with Kadamtali Police Station in this connection.
