DHAKA, April 8, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today issued a travel ban on Nabil Group of Industries director and wife of chairman of the group Israt Jahan over graft allegations.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The petition alleged that obtaining loans from banks through forgery, bribery and corruption, Aminul Islam and his family members embezzled and laundered those money. 

It is imperative to issue an order prohibiting the accused from traveling abroad until the investigation into the case is completed in the interest of a fair investigation.
