DNCC ex-ward councilor Murad arrested in Mirpur

DHAKA, April 9, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of police today arrested a former ward councilor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and president of a ward Awami League from the city's Mirpur area. 

A team of DB apprehended Md Murad Hossain, a former ward councilor of 12 no ward and president of 12 no ward AL from Ahmadnagar in Mirpur today, said a police press release.

He was accused in multiple cases in connection to July Uprising.
