Landowners need not to provide info on Purbachal land survey: RAJUK

DHAKA, April 9, 2025 (BSS) - RAJUK will provide the Land Record and Survey Department all information and evidences related to the plots of Purbachal New City Project. 

“Landowners who have been given allotment of plots from RAJUK in Purbachal New City Project would not need to provide information willingly,” according to a release issued today by Land Record and Survey Department.

It said the RAJUK will provide all information and evidences about plots to the Land Records and Surveys department as land survey at Purbachal project area is going on. 

It further said in case of special need, the Director (Estate and Land-2), Deputy Director (Estate and Land-2) or the Estate Wing Helpdesk of RAJUK can be contacted. 

The attested Khatian (field plan) prepared in the name of the landowners who have been given allotment of plots by RAJUK can be collected from the RAJUK office.

In addition, there will be an opportunity to collect the attested Khatian from online (www.settelment.gov.bd) after the publication of the draft.
 
Landowners are requested not to be worried about providing ownership information and documents or obtaining attested khatians. 

Aggrieved persons will have to file objections or where applicable as per the prevailing rules after verification of those khatians, it added.

The land records and survey department has sought everyone's cooperation.
