Travel ban imposed on two cops of Narayanganj

DHAKA, April 10, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today issued a travel ban on two police inspectors of Narayanganj - Molla Rashed Khaled and Mohammad Rezaul Haque - over graft allegations. 

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The petition stated that an investigating officer was appointed to investigate and submit reports on the allegations of acquiring assets of crores of taka against Molla Rashed Khaled and Mohammad Rezaul Haque through bribery and corruption.

It is imperative to issue orders prohibiting the two accused from travelling abroad until the investigations into the cases are completed in the interest of fair investigation.
