At the instructions of Tarique Rahman, a central delegation led by BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam came to a private hospital in Chattogram to see the injured Avi.

The BNP delegation spoke to Avi's physicians and requested them to ensure his proper treatment.

They also met Avi's family members and assured them of his treatment and provided financial assistance on behalf of the BNP acting chairman.

Since the incident, BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman has been keeping contact with Avi's family through Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam.

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir, former Jubo Dal Vice President Mosharraf Hossain and JCD Senior Vice President Abu Afsan Md. Yahia were present.
