DHAKA, July 16, 2025 (BSS)- Dhaka University unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir  today  brought out procession in Dhaka University campus protesting attacks on National Citizen  Party (NCP) leaders in Gopalganj today.

From the protest procession, DU Shibir demanded quick justice and trial to the perpetrators of the Awami League.

Former, present leaders of DU Shibir and activists   took part in the procession.

After concluding the procession, DU shibir leaders spoke on the anti-terrorism Raju Monument of the Dhaka University at 8.00 pm, presided over by DU Shibir Leader Miftahul Islam Maruf.

Demanding justice for the attack on NCP leaders in Goplaganj, DU Shibir president SM Farhad said, “Our July warriors went to Gopalganj today as following their pre-scheduled program. It was their political right. But Awami terrorists attacked them in Gopalganj, which is known as the Cantonment of the Awami League.”

Farhad   demanded strengthening law and order situation across the country and arrest AL and BCL terrorists.

Former DU president, Abu Shadik Kaium said, “Since the revolution, we have been saying that the Gopalganj need to be freed from AL’s seizure. Hasina’s volunteers took shelter there after the July revolution. Even after the revolution, this Gopalganj has become a safe home for the AL perpetrators who are responsible for killing more than 1500 people.”

“In this independent Bangladesh, there will be no place for the murderer Hasina and her misdeeds.  There will be no place for the murderer Hasina and her collaborators. We will not allow anyone to come back in the land of Abu Sayed, Mugdho and Washim.”   Shadik said.

If the interim government fails to do justice, it will be the biggest failure and betrayal to the martyrs and injured who sacrificed their lives during the Anti-Discrimination Student’s Movement.
