DHAKA, July 17, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust (BJWT) has decided to give recognition and honour to the Journalists who played courageous and positive role maintaining professional responsibility during the mass uprising from July 1 to August 5 last year.

The BJWT has requested journalists who had performed professional duties and highlighted  true information before the nation through presenting  news with courage, integrity and professionalism  during the uprising to submit necessary information including necessary evidences within the designated timeframe  to the trust office at 112, circuit house road, Dhaka.

In a press release signed by Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust Managing Director Muhammad Abdullah has urged journalists concerned to apply within July 20.

The cuttings of published reports or videos on 2024 July uprising, video footage, photographs and other evidences, including medical prescription if anyone suffered attacks, will have to be submitted with the application.
