DHAKA, July 17, 2025 (BSS) - In the ongoing nationwide anti-criminal crackdown to maintain law and order, 1796 more crime suspects were apprehended and 13 firearms and huge ammunition were seized in the last 24 hours. 

According to a press release of the Police Headquarters, 1081 of them were nabbed in previous cases and pending warrants while 715 others on various criminal charges. 

One LG, two foreign pistols, four single barrel guns, one two barrel gun, three country made one shooter guns, one revolver, one shooter gun, 21 rounds of bullet of revolver, 27 rounds of bullet of various firearms, two magazines, 16 rounds of cartridges, 20 open shell of cartridges one Burmese knife were seized during the operation.
