Prachyanat to stage play Batikrom at Shilpakala upholding spirit of monsoon revolution

Dhaka, July 17, 2025 (BSS) – Prachyanat will stage a play titled “Batokrom Ebong Niyom” tomorrow at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy with spirit of Monsoon Revolution.

Under the patronage of the Cultural Affairs Ministry, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will host it.  Inaugural performance will be held at the National Theatre's Parikkhan Theater at 7 pm. The play will remain open to all.

As part of the creation of a new play production, the play is originally a German play whose playwright is Bertolt Brecht and translated by Shahidul Mamun and directed by Azad Abul Kalam.

Shahin Saidur is the assistant director, Md. Saiful Islam is the stage and lighting designer, and Tanji Kun is the stage planning assistant. The play will be staged by 'Prachyanat'.
