DHAKA, July 20, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed today nominated Justice Md Rezaul Haque as Judge-in-Chamber-1 and Justice Farah Mahbub as Judge-in-Chamber-2, forming two chamber judge courts to dispose of emergency matters at the Appellate Division.

An apex court notification signed by Appellate Division Registrar Md Hasanuzzaman said the Chamber Judge Court-1 would hear cases arising from civil and criminal cases, while the Chamber Judge Court-2 would hear cases arising from matters under writ jurisdiction and original jurisdiction.

The Chamber Judge Court-1 would hold hearing everyday at 2:15 pm from Sunday to Thursday, while the Chamber Judge Court-2 hear cases on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, until the further order.
