10 establishments fined under Consumer Rights Protection Act

DHAKA, July 31, 2025 (BSS) - Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection has fined and collected fine amounting to Taka 8.30 lakh from 10 organizations nationwide.

The fine was collected under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 from July 19 to 25, 2025, according to a press release issued today. 

The establishments are included Habib Tiger Masala Products in Sunamganj, Orphea Food Products in Chittagong, Pabna Fast Food (O.E.U) Industries Pvt. Ltd., Puthi Foods in Sylhet, Royal Packaging in Dhaka, Bidu Roy's shop in Natore, Kusumkoli Bakery in Jamalpur, Medicare Clinic and Nursing Home in Rangpur, One Food in Bogra and Al Wali Chemicals and Consumers in Narayanganj.
