Zerin Khan for all-out resistance against extortionists

MADARIPUR, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) - BNP central assistant education affairs secretary Helen Zerin Khan has stressed the need for all-out resistance against the extortionists and those who try to destabilise the country.

"Anyone involved in extortion or illegal occupation won't be considered a member of the BNP, but rather an intruder," she said on Thursday evening at a meeting organized by the Bahadurpur union BNP in Kalir Bazar, located in Madaripur sadar upazila. 

The programme highlighted the 31-point charter announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

In her address, Zerin Khan emphasized the party's stance against extortion or illegal occupation, saying, "We are vocal against those extortionists and occupiers."

She added that the BNP's priority is to ensure these individuals are brought under the purview of the law.

The meeting was presided over by Bahadurpur union BNP leader Haider Matubbar.
