Workers’ wages to be paid thru selling NASSA Group’s properties

DHAKA, Sept 20, 2025 (BSS) - The wages of the workers of the NASSA Group will be paid by selling the properties of NASSA Group Chairman Nazrul Islam Mazumder. 

A process has already been initiated to sign a draft power of attorney for selling the assets, according to NASSA Group authorities. 

This will make it easier to pay the salaries and allowances of the workers for the current month, said a handout.

NASSA Group’s assets include: Plot-6, Road-7, Gulshan; five bighas of land and a seven-storey building (total area 20,0006 sq. ft.) at Taiyabpur Mouza, Ashulia; ten bighas of land at Char Chengakandi Mouza, Narayanganj; shares worth about TK  86 crore; and a RAJUK plot.

NASSA Group has informed that the remaining procedures will be completed shortly, and thus the workers’ wages will be paid.
